Dogs on Skis to play Saturday Night!

Don't miss out on Saturday night's live performance by Dogs on Skis! Dogs on Skis started in the mid 80’s playing covers of classic rock. They gained popularity in the Iowa City area by focusing on playing songs that people liked to dance to. From the beginning, attention was given to their ability to perform material with vocal harmonies. In 1990 the band released their first album “I Bark Therefore I Am”. As the band gained popularity they began to play area street dances. The band cut back in the mid 90’s. As the millennium came the band was playing consistently again. 2003-2005 have been the was most successful years to date with regular club shows, outdoor concerts and an increased loyal following. Over the three year period the band played 145 shows.
